Julien Dubois

Julien Dubois (* 1970 ) is a French actor.

Julien Dubois owes his most important role to a coincidence. In 1976 he played the son of Jean-Pierre Léaud in a film by his father Bernard Dubois , Les Lolos de Lola . When François Truffaut made the last film of the Antoine Doinel cycle in 1978 , he needed an actor from the son of Jean-Pierre Léaud (Antoine) and Claude Jade (Christine) for love on the run . And since love on the run uses flashbacks to almost a third, Truffaut was able to fall back on a scene between Léaud and Julien Dubois from Les Lolos de Lola , so that Julien Dubois as Alphonse now also had a fictional past. Thus Julien Dubois played Alphonse Doinel, the son of Antoine and Christine Doinel, who was played by four girls in bed and table .

Other important roles were the leading role of Julien in Bernard Dubois' In the Last Summer of the War in 1980 , Fabien in the episode film Paris vu par ... 20 ans après (1984), Jeannot in Passage secret (1985) and Fla-Fla in Gérard Jugnots Scout toujours .

In later years, Julien Dubois played with directors such as Jean-Charles Tacchella ( cuts ) and Claude Chabrol ( Madame Bovary )
