Juliet Gardiner

Juliet Gardiner (born June 24, 1945 ) is a British historian . She was one of the editors of History Today and is a writer covering the social history of Britain from Victorian times to the 1950s.

Gardiner worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Historical Research . She has taught at Middlesex University and Oxford Brookes University in Oxford . After a time at Verlag Weidenfeld & Nicolson , Gardiner has been a full-time writer since 2001.
