Julieta Cardinali (born October 21, 1977 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine actress .

life and career

Julieta Cardinali was born in 1977 in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires. She received her acting training from the popular Argentinian actor Julio Chávez. She made her film debut in 1991 at the age of 14 in El show de Xuxa . In German-speaking countries, she became known for her multi-award-winning portrayal of the legendary Argentine first wife Evita Peron in the Spanish miniseries Letter to Evita from 2012.

Julieta Cardinali was in a relationship with the Argentine director Alejandro Agresti for several years. Since 2005 she lived with the singer Andrés Calamaro , whom she married in July 2010. The couple separated in December 2010. From this relationship she has a daughter born in 2007.
