Festival de Télévision de Monte-Carlo
The Festival international de Télévision de Monte-Carlo (French for "Television Festival Monte Carlo") takes place annually in Monte-Carlo . It was founded in 1961 by Prince Rainier III. founded to support the new art forms of television .
Television productions from all over the world are presented in the competitions of the festival. The television prize Nymphe d'Or ("Golden Nymph") is awarded in the form of a gold-plated statuette in several sub-categories of the categories "TV film", "Miniseries", "News", "TV series" and "International audience participation".
