Julia Klymenko

Julija Leonidiwna Klymenko ( Ukrainian Юлія Леонідівна Клименко ; born October 5, 1976 ) is a Ukrainian economist and politician.

Life

Julija Klymenko did her bachelor's degree at the Kiev-Mohyla University between 1993 and 1997 and from 1997 to 1999 she completed a degree at the International Management Institute (MIM) in Kiev , which she completed with a master's degree in business administration.

She then held senior positions in the economy and headed the office of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine. Under the Ukrainian Minister of Economic Affairs, Aivaras Abromavičius , she was Deputy Minister for Economic Development of Ukraine in the second Yazenjuk cabinet from April 2015 to October 2016.

Klymenko is the vice-president of the University of Kiev Business School Київська школа економіки (Kyiv School of Economics, KSE) as well as the chairwoman of the Voice (Ukrainian Голос Holos ) party founded by the Ukrainian rock musician Svyatoslav Wakarchuk .

In the 2019 parliamentary elections in Ukraine , she will run for second place on the list in her party for the Verkhovna Rada election .
