The residential building registered in the Quedlinburg monument register is located north of the historic Quedlinburg old town. The Mühlgraben flows west of the house and the building is on the right bank. The Julius-Wolff-Straße bridge leads over the Mühlgraben in the immediate vicinity .
Architecture and history
The country house style building was built in 1911/1912 by the architect Herrmann Wellmann for the royal music master Emil Radlocha . Decorative elements that incorporate musical motifs are reminiscent of the building owner's profession. The facade of the house is divided into small parts.
In 1912 the Quedlinburg Freemason Lodge, Goldene Waage, moved from its previous building to the Goldene Waage building into Julius-Wolff-Strasse 7. Radochla was a member of the lodge.
