Julius Augustus von Goldacker

Julius Augustus von Goldacker , also shortened to Julius August Goldacker (* 1673 ; † February 14, 1740 ) was a royal Polish and electoral Saxon major general of the cavalry. He was a co-owner of the feudal estates in Weber- and Allerstedt as well as a co-tenant at the Ufhoven manor near Langensalza .

Life

origin

Julius Augustus was a member of the Thuringian noble family of Goldacker that until the 18th century aware of the Adelspronomen of waived.

career

Goldacker joined the Saxon Army, where he was colonel of a dragoon regiment for a long time and was promoted to major general of the cavalry in 1734. Due to ongoing health problems, he took his leave of the military prematurely and settled on his property in Thuringia.

family

Julius Augustus von Goldacker married Anna Dorothea von Uetterodt from the Ortleben family.

From this marriage the two sons and his surviving feudal heirs Adolph August (1715-1765), who was Rittmeister in the service of the Wettins, Christian Willibald , later major general, and Johann Friedrich and Hans Friedrich Goldacker (born March 28, 1727) emerged. His sons and his cousin Albrecht Goldacker, who was major general, sold the rights to the Ufhoven manor in 1741 to the Privy Councilor Friedrich Carl Graf von Watzdorf.

Julius Augustus von Goldacker had a split coat of arms . Above, in gold, a black, rising goat with golden horns growing out of the division, below split by silver and red. On the helmet a growing man with a gold cloak, white beard and silver tipped red Tatar cap. The ceilings are black and gold on the right and red and gold on the left.
