Julius Axmann

Julius Axmann (born April 12, 1858 in Vienna ; † December 12, 1929 there ) was an Austrian politician ( CSP ) and salesman. From 1897 to 1907 he was a member of the House of Representatives of the Austrian Reichsrat and from 1909 to 1919 a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

After finishing elementary and community school, Axmann attended the commercial school in Vienna and then worked as a commercial clerk. Axmann was co-founder of the employee health insurance fund "Collegialität" and founder of the production cooperative of the Waldviertel weavers. He also worked as assistant chairman of the trade employees and was a campaigner of Karl Lueger and Leopold Kunschak . Between 1897 and 1907 Axmann was a member of the House of Representatives of the Austrian Reichsrat, from 1900 to 1912 a municipal councilor in Vienna and from January 8, 1909 to May 4, 1919, a member of the Lower Austrian Landtag.

In the Reichsrat election 1907 lost in the constituency of Silesia 5 against Otto Günther .
