Julius Conradi

Julius Conradi ( 1805 in Breslau - December 25, 1889 in Vienna ) was a theater actor and head of a theater school .

Life

Conradi initially intended to devote himself to pharmacy, but soon turned to the stage. He made his debut in the Breslauer Stadttheater in 1824, was then engaged in Graz, Brno, Baden, Pressburg and most recently at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna (1854–1865), whereupon he retired entirely from the stage and opened a theater school, which he did Board member until 1873. He then became an administrator at Friedrich Strampfer . In the last few years he resumed his activity as a dramatic teacher and taught until his death. Many outstanding artists were among his students.
