Julius Dickmann

Julius Dickmann (born 1894 ; died 1942 ) was an Austrian Council Socialist.

Life

Dickmann came from the Jewish petty bourgeoisie and emerged politically for the first time in the Austrian Revolution of 1918. He was active in the Federation of Revolutionary Socialists - International and campaigned for the council system. He later worked in the newspapers of the KPÖ, which were soon no longer available to him. He then represented his left communist views in the Free Tribune , the organ of Poale Zion in Austria.

Dickmann was deported and murdered in 1942.
