Julius Joseph Neumann

Julius Joseph Neumann (born May 15, 1836 in Bolchen ; † October 30, 1895 there ) was a Catholic clergyman and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Neumann attended the Episcopal Gymnasium and the Priestly Seminary in Metz . In 1861 he became a priest and until 1863 he was chaplain in Ars on the Moselle . Between 1863 and 1873 he was pastor in Weimeringen , from 1873 to 1878 pastor in Oettingen and from 1878 in Hayingen .

From 1890 until his death he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine 13 ( Bolchen , Diedenhofen ). He was a member of the Alsace-Lorraine Protest Party.
