Veymerange ( Lorraine : Wëmrénge / Weimeréngen , German  Weimeringen ) is a district of Thionville in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ).

Other spellings were: Wemeringas (926), Wimeringas (977), Wimeringes and Wuimeringes (993), Weimering (1544), Weimrange and Weimerangen (1697), Veymerange (1793), Weymerange (19th century), Weimeringen (1871– 1918).
In 1966 the place was incorporated into Thionville.
