Julius Oelkers

Julius Oelkers (born August 11, 1882 in Hanover ; † May 9, 1963 in Hannoversch Münden ) was a German forest scientist and professor at the Hannoversch Münden Forest Academy. Münden .

Oelkers was head of the Provincial Forests of Hanover and rector of the Hann forest academy. Münden. He headed the Institute for Silviculture from 1922 to 1948. In November 1933 he signed the confession of the German professors about Adolf Hitler .
