Julius Pirxhofer
Julius Pirxhofer (* 1855 in Teschen ; † November 21, 1917 in Vienna ) was an Austrian lawyer and politician . He was a member of the Reichsrat (1896) and a member of the Lower Austrian Landtag (1896–1902).
Life
Born as the son of a lawyer , he attended the state high school in Krems and studied law in Vienna from 1874 . There he became a member of the Teutonia Vienna fraternity in the same year . In 1896 he was elected to the Reichsrat , then joined the German People's Party (DVP) and from 1896 to 1902 was a member of the Lower Austrian Landtag for the cities of Horn, Eggenburg, Langenlois, Maissau and Retz. In 1916 he became a councilor and retired. He was president of the Austrian Tourist Club .
