Julius Wilhelmi
Julius Franz Wilhelmi (born June 18, 1880 in Marburg ; † February 3, 1937 in Berlin- Dahlem) was a German zoologist.
Life
During his studies, Wilhelmi became a member of the Germania Marburg fraternity in 1899 .
From 1927 to 1937 he was honorary professor for biological hygiene (housing, drinking, industrial and sewage hygiene) in the field of urban civil engineering and urban planning at the Technical University of Berlin .
At the same time he was department director and professor at the Prussian State Institute for Water, Soil and Air Hygiene and editor of the magazine for disinfection and health.
He wrote numerous books, including a. about the housefly and the biting fly and how to combat them.
