Jun Kim (* 1988 in Japan ) is a photo artist living in Germany .

Life

Jun Kim completed his photography studies at the FH Dortmund . He completed an internship and assistant to Erwin Olaf and Bernd Arnold. Kim lives and works in Cologne and Berlin as a concept artist and photographer . In 2010 he took part in an artist movement against human trafficking, "Artists for Freedom".

Much of his work is surrealist and has received media attention. Among other things, there is an article about him and his way of working in the current Cornelson Discover Art Volume 2 . Kim's works are juxtaposed there with those of Oscar Gustav Rejlander's photomontages.

Kim is represented through exhibitions worldwide. Including Museum Dinslaken, LDXArtodrome Gallery Malta and organizes its own conceptual projects under the “EIENgroup” such as “The Vitruvians”, which was realized in the Kunsthaus Rhenania, Cologne. Furthermore, Kim is the winner of various awards a. a. 2011 PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris, 2012 PPL Award . In 2011 Jun Kim and Elke Kim founded the "EIENgroup". The first international representation as "EIENgroup" was implemented together with the Artodrome gallery in Malta in 2012 and at the ART TAIPEI art fair in 2013.
