The measure , also Mäß, was a measure of volume and grain in Regensburg .

• 1 meter = 4 quads = 8 Metzen = 13,230 Parisian cubic inches = 262 1/5 liters
• 1 sheep / bushel = 4 meters

The type of grain made the difference at the Meeß. The above value was for wheat . Oats increased the measure to 7 quads or 28 meats.
