Jun Maeda (racing driver)
Jun Maeda ( Japanese 前 田 淳 , Maeda Jun ; born November 6, 1967 in Kyoto , Japan , † June 6, 2006 in Manchester , England ) was a Japanese motorcycle racer .
Jun Maeda has been a participant in the Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man since the 2003 season and has been one of the stars of the Tourist Trophy with his Honda Fireblade .
He died on June 6, 2006 as a result of a training accident with his Irish colleague Seamus Greene on May 29 at the Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man. A few days after the accident, he was transferred from Noble's Hospital on the Isle of Man to North Manchester Hospital .
