Junan

This article is about Junan County (莒南县) in Linyi Prefecture in Shandong Province, China. For the large community of the same name Jun'an (均安镇) in the Shunde district of the prefecture -level city of Foshan in the Chinese province of Guangdong, see Jun'an .

Junan County ( Chinese  莒南县 , Pinyin Jǔnán Xiàn ) is a county in east China's Shandong Province . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Linyi . Junan has an area of ​​1,752 km² and has 990,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community Shizilu (十字路 镇).

The former headquarters of the 115th Division of the 8th March Army (Balujun yiyiwu shisi lingbu jiuzhi 八路军 一一 五 师 司令部 旧址) from 1941–1945 has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (4-244) since 1996 .
