Shunde
Shunde ( Chinese 順德 區 / 顺德 区 , Pinyin Shùndé qū ) is a municipality in the city of Foshan in the Chinese province of Guangdong . Outwardly, Shunde looks like an independent city, as there are extensive rural areas between the center of Shunde and the center of Chancheng , which is also the center of Foshan.

Shunde is located in the south of the prefecture-level city of Foshan and borders on the Chancheng district in the north .
The climate in Shunde is subtropical and the average temperatures are between 13.1 ° C in January and 28.7 ° C in July. With a rainfall of 1,649.9 mm, it is one of the drier areas of Guangdong .

economy
The GDP is 43.73 billion RMB (2002). Shunde is one of the richest administrative units at the county level in Guangdong and is one of the so-called four little dragons of Guangdong (together with Nanhai , Dongguan and Zhongshan ).
Since the reforms began in China, the economy - especially the electronics industry - has developed rapidly in Shunde. Some larger Chinese companies such as Rongsheng , Midea (美 的 Meidi) and Kelong have their headquarters here. Shunde is the main center of the furniture trade in China.
Administrative division
The former independent city of Shunde was dissolved on 8 December 2002 and in the district converted Shunde. It consists of four street districts and six large municipalities :

- Lunjiao Street District (伦教 街道);
- Ronggui Street District (容桂 街道);
- Greater community Chencun (陈村镇);
- Greater community Jun'an (均安镇);

- Lecong Municipality (乐从镇);
- Greater community Beijiao (北滘镇).
Attractions
The Qinghui Garden (清 暉 園) is particularly worth seeing. There are also several temples and other gardens and parks. In one of them is the largest Pailou in the world.
