Nanhai ( 南海 區  /  南海 区 , Nánhǎi Qū ) is a municipality in the city of Foshan in the Chinese province of Guangdong . Nanhai County was dissolved on December 8, 2002 and converted to Nanhai District. The large community Nanzhuang ( chin.南莊鎮 / 南庄镇Pinyin Nánzhuāng Zhèn) was spun off and integrated into the Chancheng district .
