Chancheng
The Chancheng District ( Chinese 禪城 區 / 禅城 区 , Pinyin Chánchéng Qū ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Foshan in the Chinese province of Guangdong . It has an area of 153.69 square kilometers and has a population of 580,000 (2003). The municipality is the center and seat of government of Foshan.
The Nanfeng Kiln in the Chancheng District and the Foshan Ancestral Temple ( 佛山 祖廟 / 佛山 祖庙 , Fóshān Zǔmiào ) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
Administrative structure
At the community level, the city district is made up of three street districts and one large municipality. These are:
