Linyi
Linyi ( Chinese 臨沂 市 / 临沂 市 , Pinyin Línyí Shì ) is a city with 10.44 million inhabitants (mid-2016) and an area of 17,186 km² in the east Chinese province of Shandong . 1.5 million people live in the actual urban settlement area of Linyi (2010 census).
Administrative structure
At the county level, Linyi consists of three city districts and nine counties . These are:
- Hedong District (河东 区), 728 km², 600,000 people;
- Lanshan District (兰山区), 660 km², 870,000 people;
- Luozhuang District (罗庄 区), 371 km², 420,000 people;
- Fei district (费 县), 1,894 km², 920,000 inhabitants, main town: Feicheng municipality (费 城镇);
- Junan district (莒南县), 1,752 km², 990,000 inhabitants, main town: Shizilu municipality (十字路 镇);
- Lanling district (兰陵 县), 1,800 km², 1.18 million inhabitants, main town: Bianzhuang (卞 庄镇);
- Linshu county (临沭县), 1,038 km², 630,000 inhabitants, capital: Linshu municipality (临沭 镇);
- Mengyin district (蒙阴县), 1,602 km², 530,000 inhabitants, main town: Mengyin municipality (蒙阴 镇);
- Pingyi district (平邑 县), 1,825 km², 980,000 inhabitants, capital: Pingyi municipality (平邑 镇);
- Tancheng district (郯城县), 1,307 km², 970,000 inhabitants, main town: Tancheng municipality (郯城 镇);
- Circuit Yinan (沂南县), 1,774 square kilometers, 910,000 inhabitants, capital: large community. Jiehu (界湖镇);
- Yishui County (沂水 县), 2,435 km², 1.11 million inhabitants, capital: Yishui Municipality (沂水 镇).
