June Kovach

June Kovach (* 1932 ; † October 30, 2010 ) was a Swiss pianist and filmmaker of American-Hungarian origin.

Life

June Kovach initially trained as a concert pianist. From 1949 to 1961 she performed in Vienna , Zurich , London , Amsterdam and Turin . From 1961 she shifted her activities to film work: As director, film editor , sound engineer and co-author of her husband Alexander J. Seiler , she helped shape the young Swiss film industry .
