Jungsturm was a right-wing rock band from Saarland . She was close to the international Hammerskin network.

Band history

According to their own information, the band has existed since 1996. In 2001 Jungsturm released their first album Wir haben deutsch , self-distributed. In 2003, the CD Songs of Our Youth followed , which only contained cover versions , including Sturmwehr , Saccara , Freikorps and Oithanasie . The 2008 album Until the Shadow Is Banished was released by Gjallhorn Klangschmiede , a right-wing rock label from Ludwigshafen am Rhein .

In 2011 the band played in Rohrbach-lès-Bitche at a festival in front of 2,500 right-wing extremists. Further appearances took place in Rheinmünster-Söllingen and in Jamel .

The band said they broke up in 2014 due to personal differences. In 2017, a compilation called The Legacy was released on the Front Records label, which included all of the material.

Notoriety

Jungsturm were considered members of the right-wing extremist Hammerskin network. The band's rehearsal room in St. Ingbert served for several years as a venue for right-wing extremist bands. The band is known across Europe.
