Junior Jack (* 31 August 1971 in Rutigliano , Italy ; bourgeois Vito Lucente) is a House - DJ and producer .

biography

Lucente lived in Belgium until he was a teenager . Working with Eric Imhauser, he got to know Acid House and Eurodance projects. However, he was only in the band Benny B. known. After the band's second album, he left the band and worked alone.

In 1995 Lucente gave up the Eurodance projects and took the name Mr. Jack , which he later changed to Junior Jack . Under this name he became known in the club scene with the singles My Feeling , Thrill Me (Such A Thrill) , E Samba , Stupidisco and Da Hype . The single Da Hype was sung by Robert Smith from The Cure .

Under the name Room 5 , Lucente and Oliver Cheatham achieved first place in the British Top 40 charts and in the European dance charts with the single Make Luv .

As a remixer - often together with Kid Crème - he reworked songs by musicians such as Whitney Houston , Moby , Bob Sinclar and Utada .
