Juozas Nekrošius
Juozas Nekrošius (born December 21, 1935 in Rimgailai near Betygala , Rajongemeinde Raseiniai ) is a Lithuanian poet and journalist.
Life
After graduating from the Betygala Middle School in 1954 , he served in the Soviet Army and worked for three years in the Rajon newspaper. From 1959 to 1964 he studied journalism at the Faculty of History and Philology. From 1964 to 1973 he worked at Lietuvos komunistų partija , from 1992 to 1996 member of the Seimas , from 1994 to 1996 the Lithuanian Minister of Culture in the Cabinet Šleževičius and Cabinet Stankevičius .
From 1989 he was a member of LDDP .
With Mrs. Zinaida Laisvutė he has the children Arvydas, Justas and Imandra.
