Yuri Markowitsch Buzko
Juri Markowitsch Buzko (also: Yuri Butsko , Youri Markovitch Boutsko ; Russian Юрий Маркович Буцко ; born May 18, 1938 in Lubny , Ukraine ; † April 25, 2015 in Moscow ) was a Russian composer and from 1968 to 2015 professor at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky -Conservatory .

Buzko composed vocal music, instrumental music and chamber music as well as music for theater and cinema. He wrote four operas , two oratorios, seven cantatas , thirteen symphonies and eighteen concertos for various instruments.
