Justice for Jews from Arab Countries

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Justice for Jews from Arab Countries (abbreviation JJAC , dt. Justice for Jews from Arab countries ) is a Jewish lobby organization based in New York City .

JJAC was founded in 2002 by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations and the American Sephardi Federation . The aim is to grant peace with Palestine solely in exchange for the satisfaction of the restitution claims of Jewish Mizrahim from the Palestine War of 1948.

JJAC lobbies political institutions in Washington, London and Brussels as well as in Israel through the Shas party. It is based, for example, on the publication by the economist Stanley Zabludoff for the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs , according to which Arab Jews would have lost 6 billion US dollars of their property through the “population exchange” according to today's value, 50% more than the Palestinians.

The Israeli historian Avi Shlaim, however, states that only Iraqi and Libyan Jews were obliged to emigrate. Others were forced to move to Israel under pressure and promises by Zionist organizations or by the Mossad by means of false flag operations . Jews from Arab countries now make up half of the Israeli population.

JJAC will u. a. Funded by the American Jewish Committee , the American Jewish Congress , the Anti-Defamation League, and B'nai Brith International. The Central Council of Jews in Germany is one of its members .
