The Justice Portal is a joint Internet portal of the Federal Ministry of Justice and the State Justice Administrations of the federal states of the Federal Republic of Germany . It is intended to enable simple and standardized access to the e-government services and information offered by the federal and state governments .

The justice portal was created on the basis of the resolution of the 76th Conference of Justice Ministers on June 29 and 30, 2005 and corresponding service agreements. It is operated by the State Justice Administration of North Rhine-Westphalia on behalf of all the states of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The working group "Development of a nationwide justice portal" of the Federal-State Commission for Data Processing and Rationalization in Justice (BLK) was entrusted with the development of the justice portal .

aims

Through the development and operation of the portal, citizens and companies seeking justice should be given standardized access to the information offered by the German judiciary. In addition, the search for the locally competent court (e.g. district, regional and higher regional court) should be made possible via a place and court directory.
