Jusuf Zejnullahu

Jusuf Zejnullahu (* 1944 in Svirca near Medveđa , Kingdom of Yugoslavia ) is a former Yugoslav politician. He was Prime Minister of SAP Kosovo from September 7, 1990 to October 5, 1991.

Life

Zejnullahu was born near Medveđa in 1944. In 1968 he obtained a diploma from an economics faculty in Pristina . In 1971 he studied economics at the University of Zagreb .

From 1990 to 1991 Zejnullahu was Prime Minister of Kosovo. When Slobodan Milošević dissolved the autonomy of Kosovo, which was then a province within the socialist Republic of Serbia , as part of the anti-bureaucratic revolution , he was a member of the Union of Communists of Yugoslavia .

When the Kosovo war began in 1999, he emigrated to the USA .
