Jutta Annemarie Barthel
Jutta Barthel , née Jutta Annemarie Wolff (born January 17, 1921 in Breslau ; † August 28, 2007 in Bremen-Vegesack ) was a German dancer , dance teacher, choreographer and ballet master .
Life
After training in modern (expressive) dance and as a dance teacher as well as leading several dance groups, Barthel took over the management of the dance group in the clubhouse of the former Buna-Werke in Schkopau near Halle an der Saale from 1950 to 1970 .
In collaboration with Barthel and the composer Wolfgang Hudy , several dance games, choreographies and ballets were created, such as “ The cold heart ” (world premiere: May 11, 1962) and “ The laughing mask ” (world premiere: June 18, 1964). Barthel received several awards for her work, e. B. the “ State Prize for National Artistic Creation ” and the Handel Medal.
