Jutta Appelt

Jutta Appelt (* 17th September 1939 in Greding ) is a German politician of the CDU .

Jutta Appelt completed her school education with secondary school leaving certificate in 1956. Then she attended a seminar for kindergarten teachers in Nuremberg . After graduating, she worked as an educator in a private household until 1959. Then she worked in the youth care centers of the city of Nuremberg until 1966. From 1966 to 1970 Appelt was the director of a school kindergarten in Lippstadt and since 1972 in Schwelm .

As a school politician, she headed the “Social Pedagogical Specialists” section in the Association for Education and Upbringing .

Jutta Appelt has been a member of the CDU since 1977, of which she is a member of the state board as well as that of the CDA .

From 1984 to 1995 she was a council member in Wuppertal . In 1995 she was chairman of the youth welfare committee.

Jutta Appelt was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1995 to 2005. Since then she has mainly worked as an author and storyteller.
