Jutta Eckenbach (born January 22, 1952 in Essen ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 2013 to 2017 she was a member of the German Bundestag .

Political career

Eckenbach has been a member of the CDU since 1981. From 1984 to 1989 she was parliamentary group leader of District Representation IV Borbeck. From 1989 to 2013 she was a member of the Essen City Council. There she was already active as a working group leader of the committee for social affairs, work and health and as a member of the main and finance committee and the integration committee. Since 1999 she has been a member of the Rhineland Regional Council. She is also a member of the party executive committee of the CDU Essen. In the 2013 federal election she was elected to the German Bundestag via the state list. In the 2017 federal election , she missed re-entry into the Bundestag.

Further offices and memberships

Eckenbach is a member of the board of directors of SKF Essen-Mitte e. V. She is also involved in the Essen Dellwig / Gerschede Citizens and Tourist Association and in the Essen-Dellwig Civic and Rifle Club. She is still a member of the White Ring e. V. as well as board member of the KAB Stadtverband Essen.
