Juventude Atlética FC de Saurimo , or Juventude de Saurimo for short , is an Angolan football club from Saurimo , capital of the Lunda Sul province .
The club welcomes its guests to the 15,000-seat municipal Estádio Municipal das Mangueiras . The local rival CD Progresso da Lunda Sul also plays there.
history
When it was founded in 2018, the club was called Bikuku FC, named Santos Bikuku after its sponsor and co-founder, the entrepreneur Ernesto dos Santos Lino. After that, the club was called Saurimo Futebol Clube, Saurimo FC for short. Since 2019 he has been called Juventude de Saurimo ( Portuguese for youth from Saurimo ).
In 2018, Bikuku FC started in the second division, the double-track Gira Angola (also known as Segundona ). At the end of the season, the club rose to the top of group B in the first division, the Girabola .
His first season in the Angolan upper house, the Girabola 2018/19 , the team finished bottom of the table and relegated to the second division. At the same time, the club name was changed to the current name. However, the club withdrew its participation in the league at the start of the 2019 season.
For the 2020 season, the club started again in Group B of the second division.
