Jyrki 69 , actually Jyrki Pekka Emil Linnankivi (born October 15, 1968 in Helsinki ), is a Finnish musician.

Career

At the age of eight he learned to play the piano, at fifteen he took acoustic guitar lessons. In 1990 the band The 69 Eyes was founded .

He has been a UNICEF ambassador since 2003 . Linnankivi had already committed himself as an ambassador for the “Stolen Childhood” campaign, in which children from the West African Benin were supported.

At the end of June 2017 he released his solo album Helsinki Vampire , with which he entered the Finnish charts .
