The village is about eleven kilometers northwest of Calvörde and three kilometers west of Mannhausen im Drömling . The Mittelland Canal runs one kilometer to the south near Piplockenburg . The Drömlings information center for visitors to the landscape, which has been a national biosphere reserve since 2019, is located in Kämkerhorst . The outdoor facilities were designed in the typical Drömling style with a pond, a white stork nest and a herb garden.
