The deserted cheese market is a certain area of ​​the municipality of Königsee in the district of Saalfeld-Rudolstadt in Thuringia .

The desert environment is located on the old highway between Sitzendorf by Königsee and was only the Tanndorfer tavern with bowling alley.

history

The landlord from Aschau had the building converted and furnished for the cheese market. It was first mentioned on November 19, 1370 with 20 villages in what was then the Rudolstadt district . In 1837 the building burned down and the side room fell into disrepair.
