Tanndorf (desert)

Tanndorf is a desert near Oberhain in the municipality of Königsee in the district of Saalfeld-Rudolstadt in Thuringia .

location

The Tanndorf desert lay between Oberhain, Barigau and Lichta on the low-forest plateau between the Schwarzatal in the south and the Rinnetal in the north.

history

This place Tanndorf was mentioned in a document on November 19, 1370 along with 19 other villages. The certificate is in the Rudolstadt State Archives . The place was destroyed in 1447 in the Saxon fratricidal war.
