Käthe Delius

Käthe Delius (* 1893 ; † 1977 ) was a German housekeeper .

Delius was born the daughter of a lawyer. After studying agriculture, she was a consultant at the Prussian Ministry of Agriculture, Domains and Forests . During this time she was significantly involved in the creation of educational structures for women in the rural household sector. Among other things, she provided significant support to the Reifenstein schools , of which she herself was one of the graduates.

After the founding of the Federal Republic of Germany, she was director of the Federal Research Institute for Housekeeping (BfH). She published on science and education policy topics.
