Cologne Regatta Association
The Cologne Regatta Association e. V. (KRV) is the non-profit umbrella organization of almost all rowing clubs in the Cologne Bay .
Since 1913, it has represented its members' interests in sporting policy and also organizes various benefit, youth and top sport regattas to promote popular sport . The KRV achieved international recognition through the successful organization of rowing regattas in competitive sports . The highlight of the more than one hundred year history of the association was the hosting of the 1998 World Rowing Championships of the World Rowing Association (FISA).
The KRV is a member of the German Rowing Association (DRV). It has been headed by First Chairman Jens Wiesner since 2012.
