Royal Bavarian inspection of the cavalry
The inspection of the cavalry was a military authority of the Bavarian Army .
history
The inspection, which was directly subordinate to the War Ministry , was set up on April 28, 1882 and had the task of promoting the uniform technical training of the cavalry . The authority had its seat in Munich.
The equitation institute, which was renamed the military riding school in 1910, and the military training institute in Munich , which had existed since 1874, were subordinate to it.
When the First World War broke out , the inspection was closed and its administrative business was transferred to the War Department. After the end of the war, the authority was dissolved in 1919.
