The Königs-Galerie Kassel is a shopping gallery opened in 1995 with around 60 shops, restaurants and service providers on Königsstraße in Kassel .

It has an enclosed space of 100,000 m³ and offers a gross floor area of ​​24,000 m². 14,500 m² of the usable area are used for shops. Anchor tenants are for example: Avanti, The Body Shop and Lidl .

The building is clad with natural stones and non-ferrous metals, both inside and out. On the roof is a sculpture by the Kassel artist Friedel Deventer . Two counter-rotating metal rods made of stainless steel reflect the sunlight during the day. The sculpture is artificially illuminated in the dark.

The glazed dome is illuminated by an artificial starry sky made up of 170 lights in the dark. It is 13 m wide, 29 m long, weighs 14 tons and has 420 triangular panes made of solar control glass.
