The Köprü Dam ( Turkish Köprü Barajı ) is located in Central Taurus in the north of the southern Turkish province of Adana on the Göksu , the left source river of the Seyhan .
The Köprü dam is located about 30 km northwest of the district town of Kozan . The dam was built in 2009–2012. The barrier structure is a gravity dam made of rolled concrete ( RCC dam ). The dam has a height of 109 m (above the foundation level) and has a volume of 1.215 million m³. The crown length is 430 m. The reservoir has a storage volume of 93.2 million m³.
The hydroelectric power station of the Köprü dam has two Francis turbines with an output of 74 megawatts each . The standard work capacity is 380 GWh per year. Upstream is the Quantity Dam ; downstream, below the junction of Göksu and Zamantı, the Kavşak-Bendi Dam is under construction.
