The Turkish Kürüm Holding is active in Turkey and the Balkans.
Through its local subsidiary, Kürüm International, it has owned the party's former steel mill in Elbasan , Albania , since 1998 , and also produces limestone and industrial gases . In 2012, the Kürüm Holding took over several Albanian hydropower plants that were privatized (for example the Shkopet reservoir ) and is building a third power plant on the Bistrica .
In 2014 the company produced 482,000 tons of steel in Turkey and 443,000 tons in Albania.
Kürüm International went bankrupt at the beginning of 2016.
