Kęstutis Jakelis

Kęstutis Jakelis (born August 5, 1950 in Kaišiadorys ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

In 1974 he completed his studies in electrical engineering at the Kauno politechnikos institutas and in 1999 his master’s degree in administration at the Kauno technologijos universitetas . From 1974 he worked in Vilnius in the company "Venta", from 1977 lived in Kaišiadorys , from 1977 to 1995 he was a professional teacher and director of the agricultural school. From 1995 to 1999 he was mayor of the Kaišiadorys Rajongemeinde , and from 1999 to 2000 a member of the Seimas .

Since 1994 he has been a member of Tėvynės sąjunga .

He and his wife Alma have daughters Vaiva, Ieva and Monika.
