Kōichi Hiroki

Kōichi Hiroki ( Japanese 廣 木 光 一 , Hiroki Kōichi ; born August 17, 1956 ) is a Japanese jazz musician (guitar, also electric bass ).

Koichi Hiroki played in the Japanese jazz scene from the 1970s a. a. in the Ryōjirō Furusawa Group ( Spicy Island ), with Shigeharu Mukai ( Magarita: Morning Flight , 1981), Tamami Koyake , Tetsu Saitoh ( The String Quartet of Tokio & Orchestra , 1992), Akira Sakata ( Akira Sakata and His DA DA DA Orchestra Play Duke Ellington and a Few Surprises ), Fumio Itabashi ( Red Apple , 1985) and Tetsu Saitoh ( Tetsu Plays Piazzolla , 1990).

From 1990 he presented a number of albums under his own name. In the field of jazz, Tom Lord lists him between 1978 and 1990 with nine recording sessions.
