Kōji Yada

Kōji Yada ( Japanese 矢 田 耕 司 , Yada Kōji , really: 矢 田 弘二 ; * April 15, 1933 in Tokyo Prefecture ; † May 1, 2014 ) was a Japanese voice actor ( seiyū ).

Life

Kōji Yada received an acting training from the Tokyo theater company Theater Echo and was later taken under contract by the Aoni Production agency. He gained notoriety for his roles as Taran in the science fiction anime series Uchū Senkan Yamato , and as Dr. Gero in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT .

Kōji Yada died on May 1, 2014 at the age of 81 of chronic kidney failure .
