Kōsaku Masuda ( Japanese 増 田 功 作 , Masuda Kōsaku ; born April 30, 1976 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Masuda learned to play soccer on the school team at Omiya Higashi High School . He signed his first contract in 1998 with Verdy Kawasaki . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club, he completed three top division games. In 1999 he moved to third division Yokohama FC . In 1999 and 2000 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J2 League . For the club he completed 121 games. He then played for Sun Miyazaki and FC Machida Zelvia . At the end of 2005 he ended his career as a soccer player.
