Kōsuke Kikuchi ( Japanese 菊 地 光 将 Kikuchi Kōsuke ; born December 16, 1985 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Kikuchi learned to play soccer on the university team at Komazawa University . He signed his first contract with Kawasaki Frontale in 2008 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2008 and 2009 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club. For the club he completed 93 first division games. In 2012 he moved to league competitor Omiya Ardija . At the end of the 2014 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2015 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. At the end of the 2017 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club, he completed 211 league games. In 2020 he moved to league rivals Renofa Yamaguchi FC .
